Volleyball Recap: Owyhee Comes Up Short in High-Profile Matchup with Marymount

Owyhee is ranked highly in their home state and on Saturday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of Marymount. The Storm fell 2-0 to the Sailors. The Storm have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Reese Meier paced Owyhee's offense, picking up nine kills. Meier got some help from Mary Irwin and her 11 assists.

Owyhee's loss dropped their record down to 13-5. As for Marymount, the win (which was their 12th in a row) raised their record to 29-2.
