Volleyball Game Preview: West Pioneers vs. Kapaun Mt. Carmel Crusaders

West hasn't had much luck against Kapaun Mt. Carmel recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Pioneers are taking a road trip to square off against the Crusaders.

West's tournament run continued when they took on Great Bend on Saturday. The Pioneers fell 2-0 to the Panthers.

The match finished with set scores of 25-7, 25-12.

Meanwhile, Kapaun Mt. Carmel earned a 2-0 victory over Andover Central on Saturday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Crusaders.

While Kapaun Mt. Carmel might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Andover Central scored at least 18 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-18.

Kapaun Mt. Carmel's win bumped their record up to 17-9. As for West, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-16-3.

West couldn't quite get it done against Kapaun Mt. Carmel in their previous meeting back in September as they fell 2-0. Can the Pioneers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
