Baseball Recap: Oasis Christian Takes a Loss

After flying high against Real Life Christian Academy on Thursday, Oasis Christian came back down to earth. Oasis Christian came up short against Lakeside Christian on Friday, falling 12-2. Oasis Christian was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Lakeside Christian apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Oasis Christian saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kason Zurowski, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI. The dominant performance gave Zurowski a new career-high in hits.

Oasis Christian's loss dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Lakeside Christian, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-3.

Coming up, Oasis Christian will challenge Altamonte Christian at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. Oasis Christian has given up an average of 7.7 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week. As for Lakeside Christian, they will square off against Canterbury at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Canterbury's pitching crew has only allowed 3.6 runs per game this season, so Lakeside Christian's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
