Volleyball Recap: Glencoe Comes Up Short

After flying high against Hokes Bluff on Thursday, Glencoe came back down to earth. The Yellowjackets fell just short of the Holly Pond Broncos by a score of 2-1 on Saturday.

Despite the loss, Glencoe still got an impressive performance from Gracyn Bunt, who had 22 digs. Bunt is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 12 or more in each of the last five games she's played.

Glencoe has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 15-5 record this season. As for Holly Pond, the win (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 19-5.

Glencoe has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Spring Garden on the 20th. Holly Pond has also already played their next game (against Kate Duncan Smith DAR), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
