Concordia was the 2-0 winner over Wamego when they last played one another on Tuesday, but their luck changed this time around. The Panthers fell 2-0 to the Red Raiders on Tuesday. The Panthers' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Concordia was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Wamego work for it, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 26-24.

Kynlee Hamel paced Concordia's offense, picking up nine kills. Hamel got some help from Baylen Arnold and her 11 assists. Jaylin Roush and Rylie Jessup kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Concordia's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 8-7. As for Wamego, the win got them back to even at 8-8.

Concordia didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Southeast of Saline on the 18th. As for Wamego, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Valley Falls on the 20th.
