Basketball Game Preview: Enochs Eagles vs. Pitman Pride

Enochs is 0-10 against Pitman since January of 2020 but things could change on Friday. The Enochs Eagles will head out on the road to challenge the Pitman Pride at 7:30 p.m. Both teams are coming into the match red-hot, with Enochs sitting on three straight wins and Pitman on four.

On Wednesday, Enochs was able to grind out a solid victory over Turlock, taking the game 60-47.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Pitman). They simply couldn't be stopped on Wednesday as they easily beat Modesto 79-42. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

Enochs pushed their record up to 16-8 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.6 points per game. As for Pitman, they are on a roll lately: they've won 17 of their last 18 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 23-2 record this season.

Enochs came up short against Pitman in their previous meeting two weeks ago, falling 57-52. Can Enochs avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
