Softball Recap: Atlanta Beats Mio Homeschool for Their Eighth Straight Victory

Atlanta waltzed into their game on Wednesday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. They were the clear victors by a 14-2 margin over Mio HomeSchool. The result was nothing new for the Huskies, who have now won 15 matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Atlanta's win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-3. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.4 runs on average over those games. As for Mio HomeSchool, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-15 record this season.

Atlanta does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Mio HomeSchool, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 13-3 win against Heston Academy on the 30th.
