Sierra Linda took a seven-run defeat the last time they faced off against Washington, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Bulldogs had just enough and edged out the Rams 9-8. This was a revenge game for the Bulldogs: when they faced off against the Rams on Tuesday, they had to take a 9-2 loss.

Sierra Linda's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-8. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.3 runs over those games. As for Washington, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-8.
