Softball Recap: Melba Comes Up Short

Melba came into their game on Saturday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Parma Panthers, falling 18-8. The Mustangs haven't had much luck with the Panthers recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Melba's loss dropped their record down to 7-17. As for Parma, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 21-3.

As of now, neither Melba nor the Panthers have any future games scheduled.
