Soccer Game Preview: Wilcox vs. Los Altos

The Wilcox Chargers will be taking part in a tournament against the Los Altos Eagles at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. Wilcox is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.2 goals per game this season.

Wilcox is headed into the match without a loss and will look to keep things rolling. They and Menlo School finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw on Monday.

Wilcox's goal came courtesy of Jacob Aguirre, who's now up to three this season.

Meanwhile, Los Altos put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their undefeated season alive. Their defense stepped up to hand Prospect a 2-0 shutout. That's two games straight that the Eagles have won by exactly two goals.

Los Altos pushed their record up to 3-0-1 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored ten goals over those three games. Wilcox's draw gives them a new season record of 3-0-2.
