Softball Recap: Roma Comes Up Short

Roma fell victim to Juarez-Lincoln and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Huskies, falling 10-0. The Gladiators just can't catch a break and have now endured five defeats in a row.

Roma's loss dropped their record down to 1-16. As for Juarez-Lincoln, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season.

Roma will square off against Cigarroa at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Gladiators are facing the Toros at the right time seeing as the Toros are stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Juarez-Lincoln, they will challenge Mission at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Huskies will need to watch out since the Eagles have now posted at least ten runs in their last four games.
