Softball Recap: Montesano Bulldogs vs. Aberdeen Bobcats

Montesano was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Aberdeen Bobcats. The Bulldogs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bobcats apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Violet Prince spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and one unearned) runs on two hits and racked up 12 Ks.
