Recap: Ann Sobrato Bulldogs vs. Mills Vikings
The Ann Sobrato Bulldogs's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They fell 50-40 to Mills. Ann Sobrato lost against Mills in their previous head to head back in December of 2016, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 70-54 score last time.
Mills' victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jefriel Bacorro, who scored 11 points. The match was Bacorro's fifth in a row with at least ten points. Joshua Lee was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with four steals.
Ann Sobrato has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season. As for Mills, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 3-5.
Ann Sobrato won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against San Jose at 3:00 p.m. on December 16th. San Jose is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses. As for Mills, they will head out on the road to face off against Monta Vista at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
