Soccer Game Preview: Elmore County vs. Holtville

The Elmore County Panthers will head out to square off against the Holtville Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Elmore County took a three-goal loss the last time they faced off against Chilton County, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Panthers won by a goal and slipped past the Tigers 2-1.

Meanwhile, Holtville kept a clean sheet against Brewbaker Tech on Thursday. They came out on top against the Rams by a score of 2-0.

Elmore County has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-7 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 22 goals over those five contests. As for Holtville, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-9-1.
