Softball Game Preview: Murdock Blue Devils vs. Gardner Wildcats

The Murdock Blue Devils will head out to take on the Gardner Wildcats at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The squads are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Murdock has struggled recently with six defeats in a row, while Gardner will arrive with six straight victories.

Murdock lost 15-2 to Tahanto Regional on Monday.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Gardner duked it out with Maynard on Monday. The Wildcats had just enough and edged out the Tigers 2-1. Those two runs were actually the fewest the Wildcats have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.

Murdock's loss dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Gardner, their win bumped their record up to 11-4.

Murdock might still be hurting after the 8-2 defeat they got from Gardner in their previous meeting two weeks ago. Can the Blue Devils avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
