             After each having a week off, the Notre Dame Titans and the Aquinas Falcons will dust off their jerseys to  face off against  one another  at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Notre Dame is looking for their season?s first  win.
 Notre Dame's offense might be in the hot seat  on Thursday considering what happened against Xavier Prep  last Thursday. They had to suffer through a   47-0 loss at the hands of the Saints. While losing is never fun, the Titans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' California football rankings  (they are ranked 959th, while the Saints are ranked 478th).
 Meanwhile, Aquinas was not the first on the board  last Friday, but they got there more often. They enjoyed a cozy  27-10 victory over Citrus Valley.
 Aquinas' defense made their presence known, laying out the QB  four times. In that department,  Kenneth Crews was the leader with two sacks. Aquinas got some further help from  Mike Davis: he picked up  a  sack and made 14 total tackles (1.0 for loss) in addition to snagging  two  interceptions which he returned  for a touchdown.
 Notre Dame's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Aquinas, their  win (their first of the  season) made their record 1-2.
 Notre Dame took a serious blow against Aquinas  when the teams last played  back in September of 2023, falling  47-3. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of  Aquinas'  Jusyis Solis, who rushed for 296 yards and four touchdowns on only 14 carries.
