Godby lost to Wewahitchka back in October of 2022, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Cougars were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Gators. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Cougars.

Godby never let Wewahitchka on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-16, 25-23.

Godby now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Wewahitchka, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Coming up, Godby will square off against Rickards at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Wewahitchka, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Port St. Joe at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
