Basketball Recap: Green Hope Starts Season with Victory Against Felton Grove

Green Hope gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They blew past the Felton Grove Galaxy 75-30. With the Falcons ahead 56-16 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

Green Hope found their leader in sophomore Will Hennegan, who posted 13 points. Jaden Ebenuwah was another key player, putting up ten points.

Several Galaxy players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Rylan Libecap, who earned eight points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kyle Bullard, who had six points.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Green Hope will square off against East Chapel Hill at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Felton Grove, they will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on Willow Spring at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
