Basketball Recap: Myrtle Beach Takes a Loss

Myrtle Beach was the 53-44 winner over North Myrtle Beach when they last played one another last Tuesday, but their luck changed this time around. The Myrtle Beach Seahawks fell 61-49 to the North Myrtle Beach Chiefs on Thursday.

North Myrtle Beach's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Wells Hill led the charge by going 6-for-14 en route to 13 points and five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Noah Louder, who went 5-for-9 on his way to 13 points.

Myrtle Beach's defeat dropped their record down to 11-8. As for North Myrtle Beach, the win got them back to even at 13-13.

Coming up, Myrtle Beach will host White Knoll at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. North Myrtle Beach does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
