            Baseball Recap: Ash Fork/Seligman Spartans vs. Williams Vikings        
        
		
        
        
            Ash Fork/Seligman extended their losing streak  to four  on Thursday, dropping their season record down to 6-8 in the process. They lost  20-1 to the Williams Vikings. If the Spartans were looking for revenge after losing  15-0 to the Vikings when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

 Ash Fork/Seligman saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Branson Milius, who  went a perfect 1-for-1 with two  stolen bases and one  triple. Milius is  on a roll when it comes to  stolen bases, as he's  now  snagged  at least one in each of the last five games he's  played.
As for Williams, their win was  their sixth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 12-7-1. Those  home  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 13.8 runs over those games.
On Williams' side,  Jaxon Steng made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he  struck out seven batters over  three innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits (and only one walk). Steng was also big at the plate,  going 2-for-3 with two  runs and one  double.
 In other batting news,  Jace Maebe was a standout: he went 3-for-4 with three  runs, four  RBI,  and one  stolen base. That's the most  hits  he has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was  Mario Pedraza, who  went 2-for-3 with four  runs, two  stolen bases,  and one  double.
 Looking ahead, Ash Fork/Seligman will head out to  take on Salome  at 3:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Williams, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Bagdad  at 2:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
