Soccer Recap: Wheaton Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Wheaton and Richard Montgomery squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Wheaton had to settle for second. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rockets. The contest was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Wheaton couldn't quite close it out.

Wheaton has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-11 record this season. As for Richard Montgomery, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-5-1.

Looking ahead, Wheaton will venture away from home to face off against Kennedy at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. Richard Montgomery does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
