Hopkinton is 9-1 against Norwood since April of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 5:15 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Hopkinton has four straight victories, Norwood has four straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

On Wednesday, Hopkinton made easy work of Holliston and carried off a 3-0 win.

The victory didn't come easy: Holliston scored at least 19 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-22, 25-22.

Meanwhile, Norwood came up short against Westwood on Wednesday and fell 3-1.

The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-16, 16-25, 25-22.

Hopkinton's win bumped their record up to 11-3. As for Norwood, their loss dropped their record down to 5-9.

Hopkinton was able to grind out a solid victory over Norwood when the teams last played back in September, winning 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Hillers since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
