Basketball Recap: Alexandra Dobbs Key Part of a Team Effort in Tiger Cubs Win

Greencastle won the last time they faced Clay City and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Greencastle Tiger Cubs walked away with a 56-46 victory over the Clay City Eels.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Greencastle to victory, but perhaps none more so than Alexandra Dobbs, who posted 18 points along with five boards and three steals. Dobbs has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Bailey Brown, who earned 11 points and seven rebounds.

Greencastle was working as a unit and finished the game with 16 assists. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their assist total in three consecutive matchups.

Greencastle's record now sits at 6-11. As for Clay City, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-12.

Greencastle didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 51-21 win against Cloverdale on the 11th. As for Clay City, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 51-26 loss against Owen Valley on the 15th.
