Softball Recap: Jackson Comes Up Short

Jackson's last matchup with Mary G. Montgomery could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's game on Saturday. The Aggies lost 16-4 to the Vikings. The Aggies just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

Autumn Rocker was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.

Jackson's loss dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Mary G. Montgomery, their win bumped their record up to 8-22.

Coming up, Jackson will head out on the road to square off against W.S. Neal at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Aggies' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Mary G. Montgomery, they have already played their next contest, a 7-0 victory against Citronelle on the 6th.
