            Softball Recap: Enumclaw Hornets vs. Jefferson Raiders        
        
		
        
        
            Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Enumclaw). They never let the Jefferson Raiders get on the board and left with  a   21-0  win  on Thursday. The  victory continues a trend for the Hornets in their matchups with the Raiders: they've now won six in a row.
 Alyssa Harris made a big impact no matter where she played. She  didn't allow a single  earned run while striking out 14 over 4.2 innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks any time she's  pitched this season. She was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring a  run while going 2-for-4. What's more,  she posted three  RBI, the most she's  had since back in May of 2024.

 In other batting news,  Natalie Otero was  incredible,  scoring three  runs while going 4-for-4. Those  three  runs gave  her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of  Nadia Flaherty, who  scored three  runs while going 2-for-2.
 Enumclaw  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .771. That's the best  OBP they've posted all season.
Enumclaw's record is now 4-2. As for Jefferson, their loss was  their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which  dropped their record down to 0-4.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Enumclaw will square off against Federal Way at 4:00  p.m.  on Friday. Federal Way has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 17.5  runs per game on average), something Enumclaw will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Jefferson, they will challenge White River at 4:00  p.m.  on Monday.
