Softball Recap: East River Falcons vs. Colonial Grenadiers

While East River put up plenty of runs on Friday, the same can't be said for Colonial. The Falcons blew past the Grenadiers 12-0. The Falcons haven't had any issues with the Grenadiers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Talisa Soto made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out seven over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one walk in ten consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one double.
