Softball Recap: McGill-Toolen Yellowjackets vs. Davidson Warriors

McGill-Toolen was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss dating back to last season. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 7-6 heartbreaker at the hands of the Davidson Warriors. One positive for the Yellowjackets, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Addie Arensberg and Presley Barber did some serious damage despite the final result: Arensberg scored a run while going 2-for-3, while Barber scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. Those two hits gave Barber a new career-high. Ansley Wellington also deserves some recognition as she got her first hit of the season.
