Burnet is 9-1 against Taylor since December of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Burnet Bulldogs will take on the Taylor Ducks at 6:15 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

On Tuesday, Burnet came up short against Salado and fell 63-54.

Meanwhile, Taylor was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 42-30 to Jarrell.

Taylor's defeat dropped their record down to 8-15. As for Burnet, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-14 record this season.

Burnet took their win against Taylor in their previous meeting back in February of 2022 by a conclusive 56-35. The rematch might be a little tougher for Burnet since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
