Preview: Covenant Classical Cavaliers vs. Trinity Chargers
Covenant Classical is 3-0 against Trinity since January of 2023, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Covenant Classical Cavaliers will stay at home for another game and welcome the Trinity Chargers at 7:30 p.m. on January 26th. Covenant Classical will be strutting in after a victory while Trinity will be coming in after a loss.
Covenant Classical posted their biggest win yet this season on Friday. They breezed by Fellowship Academy at home to the tune of 70-39. Covenant Classical pushed the score to 57-29 by the end of the third, a deficit Fellowship Academy had little chance of recovering from.
Meanwhile, Trinity's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They were dealt a 78-15 loss at the hands of Lubbock Christian. Trinity has struggled against Lubbock Christian recently, as their game on Tuesday was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.
Covenant Classical now has a winning record of 11-10. As for Trinity, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-11.
Covenant Classical was able to grind out a solid win over Trinity when the teams last played on January 5th, winning 57-50. Will Covenant Classical repeat their success, or does Trinity have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
