Volleyball Recap: Burncoat Takes a Loss

Burncoat suffered their biggest loss since April 2nd on Friday. They lost 3-0 to the Bay Path RVT Minutemen. The defeat continues a trend for the Patriots in their meetings with the Minutemen: they've now lost three in a row.

Burncoat took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-10, 25-14, 25-22.

When it comes to explaining why Burncoat lost, don't look at Kevin Rojas. Despite the final result, he had ten digs and five aces. Rojas is also crushing it when it comes to assists: he's posted at least 13 every time he's taken the court this season.

Burncoat now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Bay Path RVT, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Burncoat will welcome Assabet Valley RVT at 4:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Bay Path RVT, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Keefe Tech at 4:45 p.m. on Monday.
