Softball Recap: Meyersdale Takes Down Northern Bedford County in a Playoff Battle

It's playoff time, and Meyersdale had no trouble coming through when it counted. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-4 victory over the Northern Bedford County Panthers on Tuesday. The Red Raiders haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Meyersdale's victory was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Isabella Sleasman, who went 2-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run. Sarah Hainsworth was another, going 1-for-3 with one triple and one run.

Meyersdale's win bumped their record up to 11-6. As for Northern Bedford County, their loss dropped their record down to 11-9.

As of now, neither Meyersdale nor the Panthers have any future games scheduled.
