Softball Recap: Mission Valley Vikings vs. Hayden Wildcats
After losing to Hayden the last time they met, Mission Valley decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Vikings won by a run and slipped past the Wildcats 10-9.
Mission Valley let Kailynn Jacobson and Kyplee Jacobson run wild. Kailynn got on base in all four of her plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI, while Kyplee went 2-for-4 with three RBI, one run, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Memphis Curtis, who went 1-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
