Volleyball Game Preview: Grayslake North Knights vs. Highland Park Giants

The Grayslake North Knights will face off against the Highland Park Giants at 2:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with seven consecutive losses for Grayslake North and three for Highland Park.

Grayslake North saw some tournament action on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Rockford East.

Meanwhile, Highland Park also suffered a loss in their last game, falling to Niles North by a score of 2-0.

Highland Park was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-22.

Grayslake North's loss dropped their record down to 8-26. As for Highland Park, their defeat dropped their record down to 21-14.

Grayslake North couldn't quite get it done against Highland Park in their previous matchup back in April as they fell 2-0. Can the Knights avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
