Soccer Recap: Grafton's Undefeated Season over After Seven Games

Grafton managed to keep up with Wheeling Central Catholic until halftime on Saturday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Bearcats lost 3-0 to the Maroon Knights. Grafton were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Wheeling Central Catholic apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

Having lost for the first time this season, Grafton fell to 4-1-2. As for Wheeling Central Catholic, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-1.

Grafton wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 7-0 win against Philip Barbour on the 16th. As for Wheeling Central Catholic, they have also already played their next game, a 6-0 victory against Trinity Christian on the 17th.
