Basketball Recap: Jordyn Driggers and Eliza Everett Secure Win for St. David's

St. David won the last time they faced GRACE Christian and things went their way on Thursday too. The St. David's Warriors blew past the GRACE Christian Eagles 37-14. Given the Warriors' advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 159th, while the Eagles are ranked 331st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

St. David's was led to victory by Eliza Everett and Jordyn Driggers. Everett posted eight points in addition to seven rebounds and four steals, while Driggers had five points along with eight steals and seven boards. That's the most steals Driggers has posted since back in November of 2024. Jordan Holmes was another key player, putting up five points in addition to seven boards and three steals.

St. David's is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season. As for GRACE Christian, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-13 record this season.

As of now, neither St. David's nor GRACE Christian have any future games scheduled.
