Basketball Recap: Progreso Skates Past Non Varsity Opponent with Ease

Progreso's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They blew past Non Varsity Opponent, posting a 76-15 win. The Red Ants' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Samuel Hernandez was a one-man wrecking crew as he shot 60% from the field to rack up 19 points and five steals. Those 60% field goal percentage gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Nathan Delossantos, who went 6-for-11 on his way to 14 points.

Progreso moved to 2-6 with that victory, which also ended their five-game losing streak.
