Soccer Recap: Evergreen Takes a Loss

Evergreen managed to slip by Genoa Area the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Vikings lost 3-0 to the Comets on Saturday. The match was up for grabs at halftime, but sadly Evergreen struggled afterwards.

Evergreen dropped their record down to 2-9-3 with the loss, which was their third straight at home. As for Genoa Area, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-8.

Evergreen didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 1-0 defeat against Delta on the 2nd. As for Genoa Area, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next matchup, a 7-1 loss against Archbold on the 30th.
