La Crescent can finally bid farewell to their 17-game losing streak dating back to last season thanks to their game on Tuesday. They blew past the Wabasha-Kellogg Falcons, posting a 70-42 victory. The Lancers' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Wabasha-Kellogg's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Annalise Wobbe, who posted six points and 11 rebounds. Those six points gave Wobbe a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Addisyn Quade, who earned 12 points and three steals.

La Crescent's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-10. As for Wabasha-Kellogg, their loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-9.

La Crescent will head out to take on Plainview-Elgin-Millville at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Wabasha-Kellogg, they will face off against Fillmore Central at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Fillmore Central has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 175 points over their last three matchups.
