Basketball Recap: Dalton Bentz Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Los Molinos

After losing to Los Molinos the last time they met, Plumas Charter decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Plumas Charter Warriors enjoyed a cozy 48-33 win over the Los Molinos Bulldogs on Monday. The 48-point effort marked the Warriors' lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Plumas Charter's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Dalton Bentz, who dropped a triple-double on 14 points, 12 boards, and ten assists. Those ten assists gave Bentz a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Owen Joseph, who went 7 of 13 en route to 17 points.

Plumas Charter pushed their record up to 4-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.

Plumas Charter wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 65-39 win against Princeton on the 10th. As for Los Molinos, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 61-29 defeat against West Valley on the 12th.
