            Volleyball Recap: Pueblo Central Wildcats vs. Pueblo County Hornets        
        
		
        
        
            
After flying high against Pueblo Centennial  on Tuesday, Pueblo Central came back down to earth. The Wildcats came up short against  the Pueblo County Hornets on Thursday, falling  3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hornets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup  3-0  back in September.
 While Pueblo Central was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Pueblo County's winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-18,  25-20.
 Maile Morita paced Pueblo Central's offense, picking up five kills. Morita got some help from  Natalie Alfonso and her 14 assists.  Melany Decasas Falcon and  Ashlynn Saenz kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with three aces apiece.
 Pueblo County was led to victory by  Noel Tapia and  Cylie Leonard.  Tapia  had three  digs and three  aces, while  Leonard  had six  digs and two  aces. Tapia has been hot recently, having  posted three or more  aces the last four times she's  played.
Pueblo Central's loss dropped their record down to 12-8. As for Pueblo County, the  win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 16-5.
 Looking ahead, Pueblo Central will head out on the road to  take on  Rye  at 2:30  p.m.  on Friday. As for Pueblo County, they will host Pueblo Centennial  at 6:30  p.m.  on Tuesday.
