Soccer Recap: Brighton/Boston Academy Takes a Loss

Brighton/Boston Academy lost against Boston International two weeks ago and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Bengals lost 3-0 to Boston International. While losing is never fun, Brighton/Boston Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts soccer rankings (they are ranked 156th, while Boston International are ranked fifth).

Brighton/Boston Academy now has a losing record of 6-7-3. As for Boston International, their victory was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-0-2.

Looking ahead, Brighton/Boston Academy will head out on the road to face off against Northbridge at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Boston International, they will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against Dover-Sherborn at 4:00 p.m.
