Soccer Recap: Five Straight Road Wins for Buena

Buena hadn't done well against Cienega recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Buena Colts won by a goal and slipped past the Cienega Bobcats 3-2. For the Colts, this counts as revenge for the 5-0 victory the Bobcats walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2024.

Paige Goodman and Hailey Dale scored all three of Buena's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 37 goals.

As for Cienega, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Catalina Foothills at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Catalina Foothills will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Cienega surely won't give up without a fight.
