Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask La Junta). They were the clear victors by a 23-2 margin over the Florence Huskies on Saturday. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Huskies recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

Eli Stokes was a standout: he went 3-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and two doubles. That's the most doubles he has posted since back in March. Tony Rodriguez was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, four RBI, and two runs.

La Junta always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .735. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

La Junta's victory bumped their record up to 7-15. As for Florence, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-13.

As of now, neither La Junta nor the Huskies have any future games scheduled.
