Softball Recap: Strawn Comes Up Short

Strawn fell victim to Huckabay and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 12-0 to the Indians. Having soared to a lofty 16 runs in the game before, the Greyhounds' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Strawn's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Huckabay, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 3-4 record this season.

Strawn will head out on the road to take on Ranger at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Greyhounds are facing the Bulldogs at the right time seeing as the Bulldogs are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Huckabay, they will host Santo at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Indians' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Wildcats have averaged an impressive 7.5 runs per game this season.
