Basketball Preview: Hubbard Jaguars vs. Bremond Tigers
The Hubbard Jaguars are on the road again on Tuesday and plays the Bremond Tigers at 6:15 p.m. on February 6th. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Tuesday, Hubbard had to suffer through a rough 81-9 loss at the hands of the Bulldogs. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Hubbard has scored all season.
Meanwhile, Bremond unfortunately witnessed the end of their 22-game winning streak on Tuesday. They were the victim of a tough 50-28 loss at the hands of Marlin.
Hubbard dropped their record down to 5-15 with that loss, which was their fourth straight on the road. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 12.5 points per game. As for Bremond, their loss ended a 19-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 22-1.
Hubbard was taken down by the Tigers 64-21 in their previous matchup back in January. Can Hubbard avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
