Soccer Recap: Southeast Raleigh Takes a Loss

Southeast Raleigh was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They came up short against the Willow Spring Storm, falling 13-0. While losing is never fun, Southeast Raleigh can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 479th, while Willow Spring are ranked 73rd).

Southeast Raleigh's defeat dropped their record down to 1-17. As for Willow Spring, they are on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 15 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-2-2 record this season.

Southeast Raleigh does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Willow Spring, they have already played their next match, a 2-2 draw against Fuquay - Varina on the 8th.
