Baseball Game Preview: Buckeye Central Bucks vs. Plymouth Big Red

The Buckeye Central Bucks will venture away from home to challenge the Plymouth Big Red at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Buckeye Central's pitching crew has only allowed 3.6 runs per game this season, so Plymouth's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Buckeye Central took a loss when they played away from home on Wednesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They never let Vanlue get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory. Considering the Bucks have won five contests by more than nine runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Plymouth fell victim to St. Paul and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Flyers by a score of 1-0. The game marked the first time this year in which the Big Red were not able to get on the board.

Buckeye Central's win bumped their record up to 9-7. As for Plymouth, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-6.

Buckeye Central suffered a grim 18-10 defeat to Plymouth when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Can the Bucks avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
