Several 5-star recruits are leaning toward Alabama, which will boost national champs to No. 1 in team recruit rankings.

The national champion Alabama Crimson Tide currently rank No. 8 in the 247Sports Team Recruit Rankings, but that could all change on National Signing Day.

With two potential 5-star athletes expected to commit to Alabama and six other 4-star athletes leaning toward the Crimson Tide, look for Alabama to move all the way to No. 1, based on calculations by the 247Sports Class Calculator.

Alabama prep standouts Ben Davis of Gordo (Ala.) and Lyndell Wilson of Carver (Montgomery, Ala.) are two in-state linebackers who are uncommitted but are expected to sign with Alabama. Both are 5-star athletes with Davis ranked No. 10 in the overall rankings and Wilson ranked No. 15.

Other 4-star players expected to sign with Alabama include Nigel Knott of Germantown (Madison, Miss.), Terrell Hall of St. John's (Washington, D.C.), Shyheim Carter of Kentwood (La.), Keith Gavin of Wakulla (Crawfordville, Fla.), Ahmmon Richards of Wellington (Fla.) and Mykel Jones of Patterson (La.).

LSU is currently ranked No. 1 in the 247Sports Team Recruit Rankings while Ohio State is No. 2 and Michigan is No. 3. Here's how the top 10 could look once the uncommitted players make their choice.

The 5-star and 4-star players listed are ones that have not currently committed. Potential commitments are based on 247Sports projections for each player.
