It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Carmel can now relate to. They fell 3-1 to the Zionsville Eagles on Thursday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Greyhounds of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September.

While Carmel had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 21 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 21-25, 25-22, 25-21.

Carmel's loss came despite strong showings from Tennie Anderson and Amanda Ailes. Anderson had 15 digs and two aces, while Ailes had six digs and 20 assists.

Mya Cunningham was a one-man wrecking crew for Zionsville as she had 17 digs and a block.
