Baseball Recap: St. Thomas Aquinas Takes a Loss

St. Thomas Aquinas was the 6-1 winner over Old Bridge when they last played one another back in May of 2016, but their luck changed this time around. The Trojans took an 8-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Knights on Thursday.

St. Thomas Aquinas' defeat dropped their record down to 12-5. As for Old Bridge, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-10 record this season.

St. Thomas Aquinas will head out on the road to take on J.P. Stevens at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Old Bridge, they have already played their next matchup, a 9-8 victory against St. Peter's Prep on the 10th.
